why do you want a front brace? why do you want new endlinks?Sway bars, shocks, springs, front upper control arms (just to counter tire wear) or at least the camber correction kit, and possibly tension rods depending on the condition yours are in, should be a pretty significant change in suspension feel for a car that has never been to a track day and is "hoping" to make it out once in the future. If you want to tighten the car up even more, install the energy suspension polyurethane bushings (fun job), and you will be impressed with how sharp the car feels on the street alone. I only say this because I did such to my NA and was very pleased with how crisp and sharp the suspension felt afterwards. I honestly don't see the need for the coilovers on the street, especially for the cost. Sure you get all the adjustmenst but I found that I liked the middle settings on the adjustable shocks so much that I didn't bother changing them ever again. I also dont understand what benefit the lower arms can give aside from replacing damaged oem ones, so I never even considered them. My impression of the tower braces is that they are more commonly purchased as a faddish type thing rather than for an expressed purpose, and I have seen many people claim that they took them off because combined with the other upgrades they made the car too stiff up front. Do what you like but I honestly believe the parts you are considering right now are wasting money better spent on more effective suspension components. Shocks/springs should always be first, especially if you are still on original OEM. They are not up to par anymore.
Tsk tsk, some people just don't know when to stfu search said you suck (n/m) - Wilks. 01:38:02 09/06/06 |
